Prevention is an important part of empowering individuals to lead healthier lives. Prevention services reach out into our community to reach vulnerable individuals and provides education to empower youth and adults to make healthy decisions. Renz Center has two prevention programs:
Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drugs Prevention Services works with youth and adults to prevent underage drinking and illicit drug use by providing programming in the schools and community.
HIV Prevention Services are provided to individuals at-risk of HIV transmission. Outreach services, free counseling and testing, and prevention education programming are provided to those most vulnerable.
