Congratulations to Jim Brunetti, Renz Clinical Director, Gil Feliciano, Drug Free Communities Coordinator, and Jessica Reed, ATOD (Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs) Prevention Specialist for the Community Service Awards they received at last night’s annual Elgin Police Awards event. Jim was recognized for partnering with the Elgin PD and providing opioid overdose prevention services in the community. Gil received two awards, one for his work with the Coalition for a Safe & Healthy Elgin disseminating valuable information to parents and children about the dangers of substance misuse and one for volunteer efforts and community partnerships with the EPD disseminating education to the public regarding Cannabis Legalization. Jessica was recognized for her work with youth substance misuse prevention, disseminating education to the public regarding Cannabis Legalization and her volunteer work on the coalition. Congratulations to all!
