Renz Center offers comprehensive evaluation services for all levels and classifications of DUI. We also provide counseling and treatment services for those who are evaluated at the Significant Risk (Level II-S), High Risk (Level III). The treatment plan for each client is individualized according to his/her needs, taking into consideration the court and/or Secretary of State requirements.  

DUI Evaluations:

Below is what you will need to bring with you to your DUI Evaluation Appointment:

• Copy of your Court Purposes driving abstract, obtained from the Secretary of State Driving Facility or Hearing Officer with the past 7 days.

• Blood alcohol test (BAC) result or the copy of “Notice of Summary Suspension” showing that you refused the test.

• Copy of your DUI arrest record. You will also need to bring your husband, wife, significant other, relative or friend who will also be interviewed during your evaluation appointment.

 Level II – Significant Risk:

After completion of Risk Education:

  • • A minimum of 20 hours of treatment
  • • Followed by Individualized Continuing Care Services

 Level III – High Risk

  • • A minimum of 75 hours of treatment in either Level I or Level II care
  • • Followed by Individualized Continuing Care Services

The treatment plan for each client is individualized according to his/her needs, taking into consideration their court and/or Secretary of State requirements.

We recognize the public's concerns regarding the issue of repeat offenders. Our goal is not only to fulfill the offender's requirements but to also help them:

• Take responsibility for their choices, actions and consequences

• Develop new positive coping skills

• Understand where they are in the progression of the addiction process

• Develop an understanding of the effects of alcohol and other drug use

 

We serve individuals in western Cook and north/central Kane County, including but not limited to: Elgin, South Elgin, Carpentersville, St. Charles, Geneva, Burlington, Hampshire, Streamwood, Hanover Park, Bartlett, Hoffman Estates, Schaumburg, Barrington, Lake in the Hills and Algonquin.
